At the risk of coming across as a complete n00b at this whole Internets thing, I just discovered Eli James’s web collection at Novelr. Eli has been grappling with this whole blook/blognovel/blovel issue for a great deal longer than I have and has uncovered some great source material for thinking about blogging fiction.
It would be a safe bet that we’re going to be chatting about some of Eli’s content and ideas over the next few days.
And yes, I feel like a complete idiot that it took me this long to discover Novelr. Thanks for asking.

The blame is also partly on me. I haven’t been actively scouting the web recently, due to schedule constraints, but with my filters in place I should have discovered your blog earlier.
Thanks for the plug! I look forward to discussing ideas with you.
PS: another blook thinker (ouch, what a word) you might one to check out is James Smythe, over at JPS/fact. He’s doing a PhD on the topic.
Fantastic. Thanks for the tip on James Smythe, Eli. I look forward to checking out his site.
