Interlude: A Note to Trupoets Folks

Yes, Trupoets is down.  No, I don’t have an explanation, but I’m hoping that AJ or Tobi will drop by and give us an update.  If I had to guess, it looks like the domain has expired.

As soon as money changes hands and pointers get refreshed, I’m sure that the site will be up and running again.

No worries.

If you’re desperate for poetry in the meantime, check out Lucktown by Bryan Penberthy.

UPDATE:  Of course, after sitting on my thumbs with this all day, less than an hour after this post, I’ve discovered that the site is back up.  You should still check out Lucktown, though.

  1. Well, professionalism shows.

    Here’s the kicker, folks.
We’ve begged to send money. No one wants to take it. We cannot send it, for we have no address. Paypal is not an option, it is not blind-accessable.

Not to mention our offers to send quality works of art as donor premiums.

While we can overlook their insouciance regarding a thirty-year professional poet and his instruction- the idea of a broke-dick gang of poet [sic] not discerning the smell of money strains our credulity to the point of absurdity.

    Death to such lame shit.
    NERUDA.

  2. We forgot to mention:
    still down from this end.

    Of course,
we do have trouble discerning a down site
from the not infrequent blockings to access.
    Go figure.

  3. “Double-spacing between paragraphs is an artifact of copy-paste from Word. I won’t sweat it if you won’t.”

Thank you. I’ve always wondered about that.

  4. Heh. The sad part is that with this blog template, that apparently isn’t true. The double spacing turns out to be an artifact of how the CSS interprets the HTML paragraph tag.

S’pose I ought to update my sidebar. :)

  5. Prof, from what I can tell, it looks like you’ve been banned rather than the site being down.

There are ways around such techniques, of course.
